Simba
Anthony Keith
PERSONALITY As a young boy, Prince Simba was pretty adventurous and easy to impress. He admired his father, King Mufasa greatly and wished to become just as mighty as he was when he would grow up. Simba spent a lot of time learning how to be a king to his people, but was rather naive as he thought there wasn't much to being a King but ordering his followers around. He had quite the ego at that age, making him quite arrogant and boastful towards his fathers servants. Including his fathers brother, Scar. As an adult, Simba's personality changes to the opposite. He becomes fearful, isolated and harsh - as a direct result of thinking his father had died because of him. Simba feels unworthy to return to the Pridelands, and grows up in the Enchanted Forest wtih two goofy friends Jim (Timon) and Rodd (Pumbaa) When he arrives in Storybrooke, he lives under the name of 'Anthony Keith' a lone locksmith who strangely, has no background information of who he was in the Enchanted Forest. Of course the adult knows who he is, but he is ashamed of what he had done. In Storybrooke, Anthony is a very isolated man who would rather work day and night to numb the guilt that he has been carrying since he was a young boy. He does not go out on the streets that often unless he has to, so many people aren't suspicious of him. HISTORY Prince Simba born to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi in the Pridelands, far away from the Enchanted Forest. He is next in line to rule over the Kingdom. He lived happily under the eyes of his father, now and then getting into trouble because he was very outgoing and adventurous. Though, things changed when a stranger intruded their lands, manipulating his uncle to the side of the Villains. The stranger, along with Taka brought magic to the Pridelands to steal King Mufasas throne. A war broke out, and Simba saw his father fighting with his uncle. His father fought bravely, but because Simba had been out on the battlefield, he was an easy target for Taka. King Mufasa had saved Simba from his possible death, and Simba tried to flee; only to run right into the trap of his uncle. Taka, now named Scar, told Simba he was responsible for the death of Mufasa. Broken, the young boy was crushed knowing he had killed his father because he was reckless and naive. Scared of facing his mother, Simba called upon a very powerful sorcerer; making a deal with him. Simba would escape this horrible fate of dying in exile, but that had not been for free. Simba now had a debt to pay to the dark sorcerer. He was brought to the Enchanted Forest, growing up under constant supervision of his two crazy friends Timon and Pumbaa. It was almost like they had adopted him. Simba lived happily under the phrase; "Hakuna Matata" which means "No Worries" growing up to be the man he is now. His life had his ups and downs, including living with the pain of killing his father. Simba lost his adventurous traits and became the man he is now. The second Curse hit, and Simba was transported to a Land without Magic, which; clearly did have magic. He could feel it flow through his veins. Simba continued living under the name of Anthony Keith, all while Storybrooke actually grew on him. He has had no idea that his father has been alive all this time, and is currently living in Storybrooke as well. Anthony Keith now owns a Locksmith shop in the middle of Storybrooke. RP SAMPLE Simba watched in horror as his father was fighting his uncle Scar, blood spluttered around on the battlefield; and the young boy was frozen in place. All of his fathers men, fighting to death; something he would never forget seeing. The men knew that this was a fight to the death, and Simba knew he wanted to be just like his father. Brave, selfless and strong. His father was knocked down by Scar, and Simba cried out in fear; "Papa!" Mufasa turned in shock; seeing his son out there on the battlefield. His father yelled at him, to get to safety. That's when Scar's men charged at Simba, but to their dismay; someone had blocked their path. Mufasa had taken a full blow to the chest. His father collapsed, and Simba scurried over to him. "Papa? Papa come on!" He grabbed his father's shoulder and shook, all while Scar was approaching. His soldiers were told to hold their fire. "You gotta get up!" Simba tried helping his father up, but there was no response. "Papa.." Tears glimmered in his eyes, threatening to fall over. "We gotta go home!" Scar came into view, and Simba looked up at him with tearful eyes. "What have you done?" His uncle spoke, and Simba shook his head. "Those soldiers- he tried to save me.. It was an accident.. I didn't mean for it to happen.." The boy sniffled, and Scar pulled the young prince close. "Of course of course you didn't.. No one ever means for these things to happen.. But the King is dead.. And if it weren't for you.. he'd still be alive.." Scar spoke with a lack of emotion. Simba looked up at his uncle, his eyes widening. "Oh.. what will your mother think?" His uncle added, and Simba sniffled, pulling away from his uncle. "W- What am I gonna do?" Simba whimpered, and at that moment; Scar gripped his shoulders. "Run away, Simba.. Run.. Run away and never return.." His uncle said, threatingly. And that's what he did. He ran. |
